ADMISSIONS PROCESS

The enrollment process is an opportunity for Matanzas to learn about the student’s needs, interests, educational goals, and learning style. We will help parents and students choose the curriculum best suited for their style of learning. Matanzas Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, nationality, or ethnic origin. However, because Matanzas is a distinctly Christian organization, the administration reserves the right to discriminate in areas of religious beliefs and affiliations.

Our enrollment process includes the following steps:

  1. Return  Matanzas Christian Academy Enrollment Form.

  2. Return Student Self-Assessment with enrollment form.
  3. The student and parents fill out the enrollment and the educational assessment form to help MCA to understand the student’s needs and gather pertinent information from the parent and student.
  4. Our admission’s department works to meet each student’s specific educational needs. The admissions department will then identify courses and/or grade level programs that would meet the student’s needs.
  5. Upon agreement to move forward with transcript assessment and academic planning, students are required to pay a registration fee before the final step in the enrollment process.
  6. After MCA receives the academic transcripts from the student’s previous school, a course of study designed specifically for the individual student will be provided for approval to the student’s parents.
  7. Once the tuition payment has been received:

       a) a Welcome Letter is sent to the family

       b) On-line Mentors are assigned to the student

        c) the student is granted access to Matanzas' On-Line School Site

     8.  The student may begin coursework immediately.

 Request for Student Records

In order to process an enrollment, official transcripts are required. Contact your previous school and have the transcript Faxed (904-395-9026) or e-mailed to us (matanzasacademy@comcast.net).
